The officials of the Egyptian Zamalek Club began their negotiations to include Mohamed Sharif, the former Al -Ahly striker, who is currently playing for the Saudi Gulf Club, as negotiations are taking place through the player’s agent.
Negotiations have been continuing secretly for 3 weeks, but they recently went out, after media people revealed that negotiations are close to reaching an agreement, with the possibility that the player will fall soon.
A member of the board of directors of the Egyptian Zamalek Club confirmed that the negotiations have already started with the player, as club officials are working to solve all the problems that may face the expected deal.
The source said, in exclusive statements to “Sky News Arabia”, that the club administration was seeking to keep the talks with the player’s agent far from the limelight, until a final agreement was reached and signed on the contract from Zamalek.
He pointed out that the current negotiations are the second of its kind with the player, as a dialogue was previously managed with his agent last April, but the negotiations stopped for days before returning again in recent weeks.
A member of the Zamalek board of directors added that the player Mohamed Sharif will be a great and important addition to the ranks of Zamalek, compensating for the absence and departure of the player Ahmed El -Sayed “Zizou”, who moved to Al -Ahly a few days ago.
He stressed that Mohamed Sharif has high technical skills, in addition to his scoring and physical abilities, as well as his flexible mentality that accommodates playing for the most important football poles in Egypt, namely Al -Ahly and Zamalek.
He said that the exit of “Zizou” from Zamalek may leave a void, but it can be compensated by including players at the same amount of skill, so the club seeks to include new players, and aspires to contract with “Sharif”.
For his part, Al -Ahly’s file official and sports critic Ashraf Abdel Nasser revealed that the negotiations of Mohamed Sharif with Zamalek have already reached advanced stages, but the player still hopes to return to Al -Ahly club again.
However, according to Abdel Nasser’s statements to “Sky News Arabia”, Sharif’s return is not a demand for Al -Ahly Club.
He continued: “It is certain that the possible departure of Wissam Abu Ali will leave a great void in Al -Ahly, so the approach now to the inclusion of Mustafa Mohamed, and in the event of an opportunity, it will be the favorite of Al -Ahly and not Muhammad Sharif.”
The sports critic indicated that the return of Mohamed Sharif to Al -Ahly is not excluded, but he does not have priority or preference for Captain Mahmoud Al -Khatib, who is directly responsible for the contract file in the club, who is trying to seize Mustafa Mohamed.
