Al -Rakraki comments on the possibility of Hakimi winning the Golden Ball

Al -Rakraki expressed his full support for a wise nomination to crown the golden ball, noting that “the obstacles facing him are not related to his efficiency, but to his position on the field as a back player, and his African affiliation, as well as the harsh view sometimes that African players face from their skin.”

He added that Hakimi “has all the ingredients that he authorizes to compete for the award, especially after his contribution to the crowning of Paris Saint -Germain with the Champions League title, and he was supervised by his participation in the World Cup clubs.”

Al -Rakraki considered that the results of the “Atlas Lions” during the past three years reflect a continuous and successful work, noting that the stability of Morocco’s ranking in the classification of the International Football Association is clear evidence of this progress, in addition to the series of outstanding victories and the distinguished defensive and offensive performance of the team.

In his statements after the friendly match that brought together the Moroccan national team with its al -Banini counterpart on the ground of the Fez Grand Stadium, which ended with the victory of the “Atlas Lions” with a clean goal, the signature of Ayoub Al -Kaabi in stoppage time from the first half, Al -Rakraki stressed the importance of the result despite the volatile performance in some periods.

Al -Rakraki explained that: “We could have been the best offensive, but the most important thing is to win against a difficult team. We have forced us to a tie and create troubles for Nigeria and South Africa teams during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.”

Al -Rarkaki considered that the outcome is very positive, citing the victory of the difficult England team over Andorra with a single goal, indicating that some matches are not measured by the aesthetic of performance but rather the effectiveness of the results.

He also expressed his pride in the series of successive victories achieved by the team, which amounted to 12 wins, despite the difficulty of the end of the football season.

He admitted that some players resorted to the individual review during the match in order to prove the self and reserve a place in the starting lineup, even at the expense of collective discipline, but he stressed that the spirit within the group remains strong, and that the atmosphere in the camps “goes beyond what is athletic to what is human”, referring to the great harmony between the elements of the national team and the absence of any tension or problems in recent years.

Al -Rakraki concluded his speech by emphasizing that the greatest goal remains to win the African Nations Cup, stressing that the technical staff and the players continue to prepare for this long -awaited dream by the Moroccan fans.
